This homemade pico de gallo will transform and brighten any of your dishes. This is a great dish to make up before that forgotten pot-luck picnic and grab some chips on your way to the party. This pico de gallo recipe deserves a spot on top of your tacos or breakfast burrito for sure. This one is for all my fellow Seinfeld fans.

Pico de Gallo

Freshen and brighten all of your dishes with this quick and easy recipe
Course Appetizer, Side Dish
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 4

Ingredients

  • 4 Roma tomatoes chopped
  • 2 jalapeños or serranos seeds removed and chopped fine
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1/4 red onion (about 1/4-1/2 cup) chopped fine
  • bunch fresh cilantro chopped to taste
  • Juice from 1/2 lime
  • pinch salt to taste

Instructions

  • Chop all produce to desired consistency
  • Stir together in large bowl
  • Transfer to serving and dish and enjoy at once

This recipe stores well and can be refrigerated for up to 5 days
